Alexandra came wedding dress shopping at Strut exactly one year before her wedding–what a great way to mark that milestone! Plus, shopping that far in advance gives us more options, like the custom change we made to Lexi's wedding dress.
Lexi wanted an aline wedding dress with some lace and pickups on the skirt. She chose a taffeta wedding gown with tulle pickups and beaded lace appliques on the skirt. The bodice featured ruching with lace trim at the top. Alexandra had them make it with a sweetheart neckline for her and, in alterations, had them shorten the taffeta overlay to expose more of the pickups.
She wrote us and said, "I was lucky enough to find a beautiful dress at a great price! I was so happy with Strut that we also bought the bridesmaid dresses there too. It was such a great feeling going in and actually being able to try on the dress and zip it up and not just trying to picture what it would look like!! Alexandra and Tim were married November 10, 2013. Her bridesmaids both wore turquoise bridesmaids dresses from Strut. One was one strap satin, and the other was one strap in chiffon.
