Gigi shopped for her wedding dress at Strut waaaaay back…. But as life happens, her wedding got pushed back. So we were thrilled when she showed up to our annual wedding dress sample sale last July. It’s the only time our plus size wedding dresses go on sale, cheap! They are typically under $600. So Gigi scored an amazing Pattis wedding dress at a great price!
She knew she wanted a lace and vintage wedding dress, but she thought she wanted a ballgown. Instead, we put her in a fitted trumpet style wedding dress–because plus size girls can really rock them! It also helped that Gigi is taller than most of us!
Gigi wore a vintage inspired lace v-neck wedding dress with delicate tulle straps. It had a slight empire line just under the bust. The train featured a fish tail style, where the tulle flares out a bit in the back. The wedding dress featured asymmetrical lace detailing on the front of the skirt. Gigi added a cathedral length veil and flower for her hair.
