Bride Ashley was so sweet to serve as a model for a brand new wedding gown in our Tempe bridal store. We’ve alternately described this gown as fun and funky, sweet and ethereal, beachy or boho… We’ve had brides call it a little bit Western, shabby chic, perfect for a barn, and more. That’s the thing – it’s the perfect wedding dress for so many types of wedding styles that it’s the perfect plus size wedding dress with layered skirt!
This wedding dress features a pretty lace applique bodice with modified sweetheart neckline. It actually comes with detachable straps, which are tucked in on Ashley. Our favorite part is the layered the skirt. It’s actually a material that’s fairly new to wedding gowns, called English net. It’s similar to tulle in that it’s lightweight and flowy, but English net is a bit softer and has bigger holes in it. We love the handkerchief hem on this wedding gown!
Here’s a close up of the pretty bodice. The natural waist is great; it would be easy to add a beaded or blingy sash or belt for some sparkle!
This dress is available in ivory (lace) with champagne, as shown, all ivory, or all white. It’s in stock now in our Tempe bridal store, and it will be in our Long Beach bridal salon next week. Priced under $1200, which is great for a textured wedding dress!
