What’s better than helping beautiful brides find the perfect dress? Going to the Los Angeles Bridal Market hosted by The Knot Couture to check out and buy more beautiful dress for our gorgeous brides. Ann and I had the pleasure of heading to the recent bridal market and checking out all the new wedding gown designs for the upcoming spring collections and get a great look at whats going to be trending this upcoming year. We saw lace, tulle, organza and, of course, tons of sparkle. Everything was gorgeous and we can’t wait for our new dress to come in. Until then take a look at some of the amazing dresses we saw.
We visited several wedding dress designers such as Essence of Australia, Venus Bridal, Maggie Sottero and one of our favorite wedding dress designers, Allure Bridals. All the designers had beautiful dresses, and vintage seems to be topping the charts still with all the delicate laces and intricate beading. Ruffles are still holding on strong as well, and we love it.
Ann and I got right down to business and checked out Mori Lee, oh and maybe had a mimosa to help the thinking process along. We found a few beautiful dresses and and fell in love with a stunning layered organza ruffle ballgown wedding dress.
What’s a wedding gown without beautiful accessories!?! For me this was like a candy store. I wanted one of everything sparkly. Eventually I was cut off from choosing and nearly dragged away from the booth. We also saw the vintage trend in the headpieces as well. Like this gorgeous headband. Crowns of flowers are also something we are seeing a lot of for the Boho look. We try things on to see how the look and feel, so that we buy the best value and most comfortable headpieces for our brides.
We also had the pleasure of watching Allure’s fashions show. Their dresses, from bridal to prom, were absolutely gorgeous. They are one of our favorite designers and couldn’t wait for all the fun to begin. Oh ya and then there was wine, served at our table while we picked out dresses.
We loved that they featured a curvy model in all the upcoming styles and we loved every minute of it. Beading, rhinestones, and glitz are very popular for the season, as well as vintage lace and silhouettes.
It was a successful wedding dress shopping day, and we are excited for the next upcoming bridal seasons. We will have new dresses in several styles.
