We’re so excited to feature our beautiful Chandler, Arizona Strut bride, Whitney, and her husband, Chris! The two celebrated their fall wedding at The Paseo, one of our absolute favorite wedding venues in Apache Junction, AZ. With the stunning desert mountain views as their backdrop, the day was filled with love, and every detail came together to create a celebration that felt true to them. Even better, Whitney is our first bride to be featured in her chic plus size crepe wedding dress, and she looks like a DREAM!
Whitney chose a crepe fitted wedding gown with a deep V-neckline and softly draped bodice. The illusion back with delicate appliqué gives it a romantic touch, while the silhouette and flowy train make it timeless and elegant! Whitney shopped at our Arizona bridal store, where she found her dream wedding dress with the help of her stylist, Ronnie. She brought along her sister and two best friends to the appointment, making the moment even more special!
On the big day, Whitney’s bridesmaids wore soft sage green gowns that paired beautifully with the desert landscape. Their bridesmaid dresses added just the right touch of color while keeping the overall look timeless and romantic! Chris and his groomsmen wore classic navy suits that tied the wedding party look together without taking away from the bride. The color story flowed seamlessly with the florals from LB Wedding Designs (@lbweddingdesigns) and the gorgeous Arizona sunset.
One of the most heartfelt moments from their special day was how Whitney honored her late brother. A chair was reserved with a plaque in his memory, making sure his presence was felt throughout the entire celebration! Their family photos included a sign with his picture, creating a beautiful reminder of the love that is always around them, even in spirit.
Whitney and Chris even took fun photos behind a giant white LED sign from Desert Glow Co (@desertglowco) that spelled out “The Varios”. Every detail of their wedding day was beautifully captured by Suzy Goodrick Photography (@suzygoodrick), giving them memories they’ll cherish forever! We are so grateful that Whitney trusted Strut to be part of her wedding journey and wish her and Chris all the best as they begin this new chapter of life.
