Jodi came in to our Long Beach wedding dress store late last fall and wanted to find a wedding dress with a vintage feel. She was going to be marrying Rob in the spring and she wanted to look absolutely beautiful. She wanted a bridal gown that was light, flowy and comfortable for their vintage tea party themed wedding. She also wanted to have straps for some added support. Jodi decided on a vneck tulle and lace aline wedding gown by Allure in white and it was perfect. This is a favorite bridal dress in both our Long Beach, CA and Tempe, AZ locations. Long Beach has it in all ivory and Tempe has it in a light gold and ivory color.
One of our most favorite details is the illusion back of this wedding dress. It has a very unique lace pattern that somewhat resembles a butterfly. It has buttons down the middle of the illusion back and covering the zipper in the back down the skirt. Just to had a little bit of sparkle, Jodi also added one of our beaded belts. This dress is available also in a pink color as well to size 32.
Jodi and Robert were married at Sacred Heart Church in Coronado, CA. It was very intimate wedding with 75 of their closest friends and family. Jodi was going for a vintage afternoon tea look and we totally love all the small details. From the mix and matched table settings (which each table had the name of a different type of tea for the seating chart) to the vintage style crystal stemware, the details really made it special!
The bride and groom had a pretty tasty looking mini dessert table which had red velvet cupcakes, lemon bars, brownies and few other goodies. They had a simple and small cake that was just right! In keeping with the vintage tea party theme, the happy couple arrived in this fancy vintage ride, a 1951 Rolls-Royce Wraith from Rolls Livery Service— now talk about vintage in style. Let’s just say it obviously makes for a great photo shoot.
