Caycee visited our Long Beach bridal store in the fall of last year all the way from Bakersfield, CA. She needed to find a bridal gown for her wedding ceremony in the mountains at Rose Garden Estate in Tehachapi, CA. Caycee and Lucas were married this past spring and we have to say we found the perfect dress for this casual elegant style bride. She wanted something sparkly and flattered her curves. She found a beautiful lace and tulle ballgown with sleeves, and she’s the first to be featured in this wedding gown!
Caycee decided on a lace vneck bodice tulle skirt ballgown by Christina Wu Love (exclusively for plus size brides) in ivory. The dress has a beaded lace bodice with a scallop detail along the edge of the neckline. It also features a corset lace up back which helps with comfort and is just a lovely detail on any dress. Another favorite detail of this dress is the lace trim that is around the entire bottom of her tulle skirt. She wrote, “Maritza was wonderful through the whole process. I brought 10 of my closest family members and friends to choose my dress, and Maritza handled us all amazingly. This was the 3rd dress I tried on out of probably 9 or 10, and I cried when I saw myself in the mirror. My Sister, Savannah, picked this dress, and we all fell in love with it. All 11 of us agreed unanimously that is was “the one”. I absolutely loved my dress and I love Strut. My sister can’t wait to get engaged, so she can go back to get her dress there. Caycee also decided on one of our lace trim veils that went perfectly with the lace details on her dress. The veil was a fingertip length veil with lace half way down the veil, and the lace edge is also beaded. Everything she choose goes so well with the purple accents of her wedding. Lucas’ grey suit was a perfect match to Caycee’s dress and he and his groomsmen were looking pretty sharp in their suits as well.
Caycee came in with an entourage of some of the most important women in her life that flew in from all over to make sure she had a great experience and found the best dress for her and they all agreed it was perfect. This was our favorite photo! We’re so happy for you both and can’t wait until you can bring your sister in to be a Strut Bride, too!!
