Did you see the Say Yes to the Dress "Dad Episode" on July 2nd? It highlighted dad-daughter relationships and was pretty sweet (especially when the big guy cried) to see dads go wedding dress shopping with their "little girls". The first bride, a curvy girl, put on the Florance wedding dress by Pattis.
Now I just saw this same Pattis wedding dress in the August issue of Brides magazine (page 90). It is featured in their style section called "You Can Wear: A Goddess Gown" and is highlighted specifically as a great wedding dress for curvy girls and plus size brides. Here's a photo of Austin, one of our models, wearing the gown in a fashion show:
As the magazine says,
"The well rounded woman can do a goddess gown when she focuses on the fit–snug under the bust, then gently skimming the body. This chiffon dress has a body-hugging bodice with asymmetrical ruching that wraps around the waist, creating a noticeably narrower midsection."
