Brittany traveled to our Strut Bridal Salon Long Beach, CA location all the way from her hometown in Oregon! Brittany and Ryan united as one on August 25th, 2018. The Oregon-based couple chose to celebrate their wedding day with all of their loved ones at Deepwoods, a wedding and special events center located on eight acres of majestic firs and sequoias, just minutes west of Eugene, Oregon.
We couldn’t imagine a more perfect wedding gown for such a beautiful bride, surrounded by the wonderous beauty of nature. When Brittany initially came in to Strut, she had a completely different vision for what she wanted in her bridal gown. When a bride falls in love with a wedding gown beyond her initial expectations and vision, the feeling is so special and empowering, knowing they are following and trusting their heart. The exceptional gown that Brittany chose is an opulent ballgown, featuring champagne lining and ivory lace, providing a stunning two-tone look. Where the gown hits her waistline, an elegant satin sash ties around her, completed by a beautiful bow at the back of her gown. On the back of her gown, there are buttons that start at the very top, and carry down all the way to the end of the train. Every fourth button alternates to a gorgeous rhinestone, providing a spark of beading and shine to complete the look. Her dress also includes delicate horsehair that runs horizontally throughout her gown.
Brittany’s dream dress comes with spaghetti straps and a v-neckline, but she completely made her gown her own by having custom made sleeves added and changed her neckline. We LOVE custom making sleeves here at Strut Bridal! We can order matching fabric to each and every wedding gown in our shop, and our seamstresses are able to create any kind of sleeve a bride desires. Brittany’s custom sleeves added to her wedding gown seamlessly, and gave her the perfect amount of comfortability and mobility. Our seamstress worked some magic on her gown, and Brittany pulled it off like a dream! To compliment Brittany’s wedding gown and colors, she chose to have all of her Bridesmaids in shades of sand, champagne, taupe, and bronze.
The details that this lovely couple worked together for their big day was incredible. We can only imagine how excited all of their guests were to try the amazing and adorable donuts surrounding the wedding cake! We are overjoyed to have worked with such a magnificent bride, and be a part of one of the most important and powerful experiences in her life! The true love, radiant joy, and compelling laughs and smiles shared this day resemble the special relationship between Brittany and Ryan.
