Abigail came into our Long Beach store after a not-so-great experience at a previous bridal shop. She had previously fallen in love with a bridal gown, but due to the salon’s miscommunication and a bit of sticker shock, Abigail knew that this wedding gown wasn’t the one and she had to keep shopping. Booking an afternoon bridal shopping appointment in mid-December, our beautiful bride came into Strut Long Beach in Long Beach, California to find the perfect lace wedding dress.
“My dress shopping was pretty unexpected. Went in by myself not planning on finding anything.” Abigail told us, “After, 5 dresses I absolutely fell in love with the dress they pulled for me, and immediately called all the important people in my life to FaceTime them.”
The wedding gown she fell instantly in love with was a lace and beaded, crosshatch mermaid wedding gown with horsehair tulle accents and a V-neck illusion bodice.
“I loved the wow factor it gave off and all the beading.” She explained, “I love that it hugged my curves and showed my waist. … [I] felt like an absolute princess. And my veil was an absolute dream. Perfect cathedral veil for church. I was even more drawn to the dress knowing it was new and I was the first to try it on. Definitely felt one of a kind and meant to be.”
Pairing the gorgeous wedding gown with the aforementioned cathedral-length, sequins, and rhinestone beaded edged veil, Abigail was ready to say yes to the perfect lace wedding dress!
On July 14th, 2022, Abigail and her fiancé, Ethan, said I do at their local church in front of 220 of their loved ones.
“… [It] was very special and dear to our heart to keep it traditional.” She later wrote to us, “We proceeded to have our ceremony outdoors under beautiful lights. I wanted to just have a romantic and magical night ‘under the stars’ type of feel and the beautiful lights made it beyond romantic and so near and dear to my heart. Made the night extremely romantic and magical.”
When asked about what her favorite part of her wedding day was, Abigail was so excited to share how beautiful and confident her wedding gown made her feel! She couldn’t help but continue to sing the Strut Long Beach bridal shop’s praises.
“My favorite part was that [Strut] made me feel so special and that I didn’t feel bad for being curvier.” She illuminated, “They made me feel absolutely beautiful and made my appointment so special. They were extremely patient with me and understood what my dream dress was. Absolutely amazing customer service. They exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend them.”
