When you look back at Alicia and Andrew’s wedding photos, it’s clear to see how incredibly in love they are! Their amazing wedding album features the stunning sunset, passionate kisses and Alicia’s gorgeous long sleeve wedding dress! Their ceremony and reception was an intimate gathering that included all of their most special family and friends joining them for a destination dreamy wedding down in New Orleans, Louisiana! Alicia and Andrew were married in the Big Easy in October, 19, 2019 (happy anniversary month!).
Alicia wrote us, “Although there were many highlights of our wedding day, my favorite part of our wedding day was just finally waking up feeling refreshed, not stressed, and ready to marry my best friend. I woke up confident and made sure that even if the day were to end up being really imperfect, my husband and I are going to have the best day ever nonetheless. And it was perfect!”
With such a unique and historic wedding location, Alicia needed an impressive wedding dress to match! She worked with one of our senior stylists, Brooke, in our Tempe, Arizona, bridal store, to find her long sleeve plus size dress. She ended up choosing a beautiful ball gown, with a illusion bodice over sweetheart neckline and lace applique from bodice to skirt! It was truly the most perfect wedding dress for Alicia’s awesome venue and impressive party!
“As far as my bridal gown experience, where can I start. I had THE BEST experience I could have asked for. It started with just simply getting to want to know me before actually getting to know me, by filling out a questionnaire about my wedding dreams and vision and just getting to know my style. That helped my bridal stylist get more of a feel to what she can pick out for me for our appointment.”
“I had my mom, sister, and maid of honor there with me and it was the most comfortable experience for me. Brooke at Strut in Tempe was amazing. She made me feel valued and really listened to my wants and likes. She also gave me true service and was real with how each dress fit my shape. The same day I went to my try on appointment, I walked out purchasing my dream dress. I knew it was the one (it was the first dress I tried on) from when I put it on, but as we know the protocol, never settle on the first try… we’ll after about 10 other dresses later… I had to come back and try it on again, only to reassure it was the one for me. I am so grateful for Strut and Brooke for their service and professionalism. Without their help I would have continued to struggle to find the perfect dress! “
