Amanda's Custom Wedding Gown & Biltmore Event

Amanda and Todd were married May 4, 2012 at the Biltmore Resort in Phoenix. She recently sent us stunning photos (by April Smith) of her big day.

Hello Ann & Co,

Almost 5 months after the big day I'm finally getting around to sending some pics for your Facebook page!

Todd & I got married on May 4th at the Arizona Biltmore. I wore Eden 2337. I ordered the dress with a deeper sweetheart, and I also ordered Eden belt BLT012 in white. The description of this dress is "fit and flare" but I was looking for something more "mermaid" so, off to Janet Kirkman I went. She took the dress in so it fit tighter through my knees, then flared. We also transplanted the blingy applique off the white belt and on to a gray satin one. I love the dress. I want to schedule a trash the dress shoot just so I have an excuse to wear it again.

Both of my bridesmaids (even the size 2!) also wore Eden that we we ordered from Strut. That just proves you don't have to be plus sized to shop at Strut, you just have to want a great shopping experience.

In addition to making the customizations Amanda noted above, we also changed her dress to a zipper back from a corset style.

You can see her more fitted silhouette below. A trumpet wedding dress flares slightly higher on the leg, while a mermaid gown will be fitted more to the knee for a sexy look. Amanda's wedding dress had layers of ruffles on the skirt and train.
