We love looking at our brides’ wedding day photos–sometimes you can just tell a wedding was so much fun. One look at Andrea’s face in these shots and you’ll agree that it just had to be a really good time! (Photos by Robyn Elizabeth Photography; reception photography by DW Hart Photography.)
Andrea wrote, “We got married March 24, 2013 at the Foothills Golf Course in Ahwatukee. We had lots going on – we wanted our guest to have as much fun at our wedding as we do together. Our officiant gave us an amazing service filled with Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Star Wars, and pop culture references. Since my dress had pockets, our unity ceremony was updating our Facebook statuses. Each groomsman had a different planet on their cufflink and the corresponding bridesmaid had a matching charm on her bouquet. Our appetizers were grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters. “
She added, “We had ameuter astronomers with telescopes for our guests to learn about and enjoy the night sky. We had a giant d20 die which our DJ randomly pulled names out of and they rolled to make us kiss. We had a Photo Booth that my husband made himself and our favor was a frame for the guests to put their photo booth picture in. Our guest book was a Night Skies Monopoly board and we had our tables themed after each planet. “

I had a blast helping Andrea and Rob plan their big day. I love when my clients think outside the box. It was a great day! Since they were so into the astronomy theme, I even selected some fun astronomy themed songs during their dinner hour! It’s great getting to add extra touches like that.
