Breanna came in to our Long Beach bridal store last fall with her lovely Mom to find an amazing bridal dress for her spring wedding. After a few wedding dresses, she knew she had found “the one” ! Breanna and Luis were married on April 29, 2017 on a beautiful sunny day in Long Beach at Recreation Park and Golf Course. This has been a venue that we’ve had a few brides use and it’s a great place to get married! It was an outdoor ceremony under a gazebo. Breanna had her make up done by Megan Gilpin (@megangilpin) and her hair was done by Envy Beauty Studio . We love all the special details of their sunny sunflower wedding in Long Beach!
She was looking for an aline wedding dress with lace, illusion neckline and sleeves. She decided on this stunning gown with a sweetheart illusion neckline with sequin embellished lace and also an illusion back with lace detail and buttons in ivory.
Breanna chose navy blue and yellow, so her bouquets and flower accents for the wedding were sunflowers, roses and hydrangeas. Her bridesmaid wore navy blue dresses and ballet flats.
As for the Luis and his groomsmen, let’s just say they must be a wild bunch! Luis and his best man wore a navy suit and the guys wore grey suits. Check out these traditional Mexican Wrestling mask that they wore for some of their pictures.
But we think Breanna has these guys handled. No problem. We love our strong women!!!!! There was also a traditional Mariachi band which played during their walk down the aisle.

The venue at Recreation Park & Golf course as a nice reception room with a beautiful wood ceiling and seat up to 180 guests with a dance floor. Breanna danced her first dance with her Mom. Her reception music was provided by The Mad Platter (mobile DJ)the gazebo is in a very gorgeous area and seats 250 people.
Ok this just might be our favorite part of the reception. It’s a build your own S’mores bar. Yup! A S’mores bar! I mean who doesn’t like a good S’mores. Yummy!!! What such a great idea and if you are looking to have one of these at your wedding or event just contact S”more Play — they also do photo booths. She also did a naked cake by one our favorite cake shops, Rossmoor Pastries. They’re not too far from us in Long Beach, too!
