We are super excited to be introducing Cari, who is featured in a beautifully beaded v-neck bodice ballgown with beaded straps. She found her dream wedding dress in our Long Beach, California bridal store for her once in a lifetime desert chic wedding. Read on to hear how a traditional ceremony turned into a three day desert getaway!
2020 was a year of growth and having to adapt to make things work and that’s just what Cari and Robert did. She wrote, “2020 threw a large wrench in our plans. We were originally going to marry at a venue in Norco, CA, but when COVID hit we switched gears. We actually got married in the middle of the desert, our favorite place!”.
Cari and Robert were able to take desert chic to the next level. Making everything fun and keeping a relaxed feeling. Cari shares that even though things didn’t go as planned, they were able to rent a piece of property in Ocotillo Wells, California, where they invited beloved friends and family to come for a weekend filled with camping and celebration. One of the things we love about this desert wedding is the sense of comfort and intimacy it provides. “We set up a gorgeous altar and chairs in the middle of nowhere and got married at sunset in front of some gorgeous desert plants”, says Cari.
Cari looked absolutely amazing as she walked down the aisle in her lace and tulle blush colored ball gown!
Cari’s gown was perfect for their outdoor wedding with its lightweight tulle skirt. She was able to add a slit, making it easier to move and dance.
Prior to coming in she visited two other stores but was discouraged because she wasnt getting the feeling that “this is the one”. Cari shares that when she put on the wedding dress that her stylist recommended it “felt like a dream… It was absolutely perfect and for the first time while having a dress on, I envisioned myself in it on my wedding day.”
