Kirstin and Clint’s cowboy chic wedding was one of our favorite Strut Bride weddings of 2015, so we’re excited to be able to share it! Kirstin shopped our Phoenix bridal store back in May of 2014. She knew she wanted a ball gown wedding dress that wasn’t scratchy, and that would complement her western/shabby chic wedding theme with turquoise and chocolate brown colors.
So the blush pink/champagne natural waist ball gown from Allure Bridals fit right in! It featured a strapless sweetheart neckline with lace top, beaded applique on the waist, and soft, full organza ruffle skirt and train. It was one of our favorite ruffle wedding gowns! You can see the beautiful bodice details on the photo below (love the HORSE!).
We loved all of her DIY touches, from a lemonade stand to denim silverware pouches. All of the photos are by Missy Wilson Photography. You can see more photos on our Facebook page, too.
Kirstin and Clint were married April 4, 2015, with a big wedding. We love their non-traditional choices for their wedding party, too. The girls had their chevron striped skirts made, while the gents wore jeans and western style shirts.
Congrats to Kirstin and Clint. This western wedding was too amazing – the details really made it! Best wishes to you both!
If you’re looking for a plus size ruffle wedding dress, this gown is no longer available in our plus size bridal stores. However, we have several new ruffle styles in store from our exclusive designer collections. Our spring 2016 plus size wedding gowns have arrived, and we couldn’t be more excited!
