Jen came wedding dress shopping at our Tempe, Arizona bridal store back in October 2014 and was having a hard time finding the dress due to the fact that she is a striking five feet eleven inches tall. With impressive height like that it can make shopping a nightmare, especially in bridal! At Strut we are driven to be able to cater to every body type, and that is what we did for our supermodel bride! She chose a fitted lace trumpet wedding gown with illusion neckline and fancy lace back gown from Allure Bridals.
Awing views of the desert, lush rolling golf courses, a swank lounge style reception, and of course an enchanting bride. Strut Bride Jen is dazzling in her Allure Bridals wedding gown! Almost just as dazzling is Anthem Country Club which served as the venue for this matrimony. Jen and her suave groom Justin held their wedding in April 2015, in the Ironwood Clubhouse, and it is breathtaking to say the least.
The clubhouse is nestled in the high Sonoran desert foothills at the base of Daisy Mountain, which is a magical location in the desert, widely decorated with saguaros and graced with beautiful sunsets. The country club provides what seems like an infinite amount of amenities including spacious patios, comfortable ramadas, luxurious pavilions, a stately bar/cocktail lounge, and a ballroom that could make anyone fall in love. The ballroom is flushed with floor to ceiling windows which provide a panoramic view of the city lights and can host receptions big or small! Although, as beautiful as it may be it doesn’t hold a candle to this bride.
Jen wrote us, “I would first like to say thank you to Stephanie at the Phoenix/Tempe store. She was so helpful and professional last October and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help me find the perfect dress. I’m 5’11” and a size 14-16 which made figuring out if something would fit at a “regular bridal salon” challenging. (I had been to four salons prior to Strut). Even though most dresses I tried on were way too big, Stephanie was able to clip everything in such a way that it made it so much easier. “
Jen said her “I do’s” in a fitted lace wedding gown from the Allure Bridals Romance collection. This particular gown, although romantic, makes a statement. The hand sewn lace appliques accentuate our bride’s glamorous frame, and the illusion neckline rests beautifully on her collar bone. The grandeur of this timeless gown is the tulle skirt and train touched with just enough lace to make it extraordinary. The final touch of capped buttons down the back are what make this gown vintage chic.
