Liz came to Strut with a very definite idea of what she wanted for her wedding dress: something tea length or short, and vintage-y, like 1950s or 60s. We put her in several options but she loved a beautiful tea length gown by Sincerity. Here she is walking down the aisle:
Liz and Zak were married 11/11/11 in the Gold Room ballroom at the Biltmore. They had an afternoon ceremony with cocktail hour afterward.
Liz's tea length wedding dress featured a modified sweetheart neckline and tulle skirt with applique. Plus size brides looking for a tea length gown might find some too full, but we simply remove a layer or two of tulle from underneath to give a smoother appearance. This tea length wedding gown featured a slightly lower waist compared to others; this also makes some girls look smaller through their midsection. We encourage brides to try on several different styles to see what looks best on them.
Congrats Liz and Zak. You both look so happy! Best of luck, Liz, finishing your Master's Degree, and with teaching a class!
