If you’ve been following Strut for awhile, you know we carry the Custom Collection by Strut, which is a collection of mix and match wedding dress tops and bottoms. We love how our brides can create a unique wedding dress to match their vision by pairing different bodices and skirts. And new for Fall 2017, we’ve received these two new satin bodices for wedding dress separates in both of our locations, Long Beach, CA and Tempe, AZ.
This first new arrival has a high lace neckline over illusion netting with long sleeves featuring tattoo lace detailing. Lace appliques cover the bodice, while the back features more tattoo lace with buttons all the way down. We paired it with our satin ballgown skirt, but it would look amazing with our short tulle tea length skirt for a retro look, or paired with our classic chiffon aline skirt. Maybe even the organza ruffle bottom with horsehair trim – oh man, we can’t decide! So many fun options!
The other new satin bodice for wedding gown separates is a little sexier! It too features a satin base. This one is oyster, but it also comes in white, ivory, blush pink, light gold, even french blue. For our truly non-traditional brides, we’ve been able to do bold colors like black as well! We love the strapless sweetheart bodice, but it’s the intricate beading that really makes us happy.
We’ve paired it here with the organza ruffled ballgown skirt with horsehair trim, but it would pair beautifully with nearly any skirt in our collection!
