Sarah and Jeremy were married January 18th, 2020 at the Red Mountain Ranch Country Club in Mesa, Arizona. “I chose this venue because it reminded me of my Grandparents Country Club when I was a kid. The golf course setting for ceremony was what I had envisioned since childhood. The patio outside the reception room had a view of the city and the most beautiful sunset. We had about 100 family members and friends to share in the day.” For her outdoor wedding, Sarah wore a strapless tulle aline wedding dress.
She wrote, “Jeremy and I met online. We discovered instantly that there was no reason for us to be apart from each other. Our relationship moved fast and we knew after a few months that it would be forever. At 51 weeks of knowing each other, he proposed. Following suit, I moved quickly with planning. I toured only 2 venues, took him to the Bridal Expo where I booked my Strut appointment and had booked my venue by the following week.”
We always love hearing about special moments from our brides’ days, and Sarah told us about one of hers: “When we did our first look, all of our family was watching from the patio. They got to share in our excitement and see us as we saw each other for the first time that day. We also loved dancing and enjoying the party with our friends and family.”
She added, “We played the newlywed shoe game and so many of the answers made our guest laugh with us. During the ceremony Jeremy tried to put the ring on the wrong hand. When our Officiant finished the ceremony he announced us as Mister and Mister. Hahaha” That’s hilarious!
Sarah added, “My Mom and Maid of Honor and Nephew came shopping with me. It was my first store, first time shopping. I didn’t know what to expect. I am not used to or good at being the center of attention. I was nervous about fitting into a dress at all to even see how I could look on my wedding day. My consultant was quick to ease my concerns and set us loose in the boutique to select some dresses. We selected quite a few but it was easy to eliminate some of them. When I tried on THE dress, I was afraid to admit how much I loved it. I wasn’t having the moment you see on TV, but my Mom and friend saw it in my face. I insisted on going back to the first dress and when I stood in front of the mirror, they shook their heads and said, “no, try the other again.” My consultant put me back in THE dress and as I looked at myself, i smiled. We added a veil and that was it. I was a Bride. We walked out of the store with my (sale score) of a dress, a veil and a beautiful hair comb.”
Sarah was right – her wedding dress was on sale and part of our Value Collection, which is all sold off the rack and under $1000. Her gown was strapless with a beaded lace bodice and soft English net (a fabric like tulle, but more flowy) skirt. Beautiful!
Congrats to Sarah and Jeremy! Thanks for sharing your special day with us!
