Strut Bride Stephanie came in to our Tempe bridal store during a designer wedding dress trunk show and was happily paired with Senior Stylist Brooke, who made Stephanie feel “very comfortable” when shopping for her beach wedding dress.
She wrote, “Brooke is the best. She is so upbeat and easy to work with.” After visiting four other bridal shops, Stephanie knew exactly what she was looking for: something lightweight and beachy for her San Diego wedding. It didn’t take too long for our bride to fall in love with two different gowns, and after Brooke added a belt and veil to one of them, Stephanie’s decision was made. It “made the entire ensemble. I never would have seen myself in a veil and it tied the whole look together.”
A few months later, in the beautiful summer air of San Diego, Stephanie and her groom, Tyler, were wed in front of sixty-five guests aboard a Hornblower Yacht! The ceremony was outside on the deck of the yacht, and dinner was held downstairs and inside the beautiful dining room. “We chose the yacht and San Diego because we both love being on water, fell in love with the San Diego vibe, and it was easy to get to for a lot of our guests.” Those guests were entertained quite early in the day, because the funniest moment of the wedding was during the ceremony when Stephanie was asked to repeat “for richer or poorer,” but only stated “for richer.” “All our guests died laughing,” she said, excited her joke went over well.
“Our vibe was laid back, tropical, and classic. We only had tropical green leaves for décor and lots of white candles an Bob Marley playing.” Bob Marley got switched out for Queen at the end of the night, though, as “Bohemian Rhapsody” was chosen as the couple’s last song of the night “and every single guest was on the dance floor singing at the top of their lungs. As we pulled into the pier, other boats were also disembarking and others on the pier were singing along with our group. I’m sure you could hear us from a block away.”
Stephanie let us know that she couldn’t say one bad thing about her Strut experience. It was “great, easy, comfortable” and she enjoyed having her own personal space to try on gowns. She also loved how easy it was to tell her consultant “no, I don’t like that. Let’s take it off and move on.” Everyone at Strut made our bride feel confident and excited, which brought her to recommend the shop to her friends.
The entire Strut Bridal team would like to congratulate Stephanie and Tyler on a beautiful wedding day and we thank you so much for choosing us to help you find the perfect gown to start your happily-ever-after!
