We get a lot of different personalities in the store, but we have to say that Amanda was one of the sweetest, gentlest brides we've been blessed with. In the midst of a weight loss journey, we thought Amanda was already beautiful both inside and out, and we were eager to help her find the perfect bridal gown.
Amanda chose a ball gown wedding dress by Allure Bridals. It featured applique (like lace) and beading all over the bodice, and a satin skirt with pick ups (the "bunches"). Amanda wanted a gown that was romantic but that fit in the slightly rustic feeling of the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield. her stunning bouquet features clover green, champagne and light pink flowers.
This is our favorite shot from her wedding day. We thought a ball gown wedding dress worked well with her shape because the beaded bodice really gives a lot of control and smoothing through the midsection, which is slimming for plus size brides.
Amanda and groom Jason worked with the ladies at Thee Wedding Warehouse to help coordinate their wedding. We want to say thanks, Amanda, for being a beautiful Strut Bride; we wish you both the best!
