Marianna came to Strut from Tuscon earlier this summer. She had quite a predicament: she had already bought a dress but didn't love it. I don't even think she liked it any more. So she needed a new one. Fast. Her wedding was just a month or so away. And it was in New York.
So off to the racks we went! She dreaded shopping a little bit, like a lot of us plus size brides did. But at Strut Marianna found a wedding dress she couldn't take her eyes off, even though it was about six sizes too big.
It was a stunning tulle covered mermaid dress by Eden Bridals. Marianna had it made much smaller, added a sweetheart neckline and chopped off the train. Yep, chopped it off.
Well, of course: that way she could show off her shoes!!!!
