Last Spring in our Long beach and Tempe bridal boutiques we launched our Custom Collection, which is a group of mix and match wedding gown tops and bottoms that our brides have loved using to create a custom plus size wedding dress. They have been a pretty successful addition to our already amazing in-stock gowns. We’ve have had the chance to have had some fun with these pieces and get some pretty creative ideas. Sometimes we have brides that have a hard time deciding between dresses. When the decision comes down to a ballgown versus a mermaid wedding dress, we have that problem solved. So we paired 3 different designer wedding dresses with 3 different skirts from out Custom Collection. On the left is Ann wearing a simple chiffon aline skirt and underneath she wore a delicate all over delicate lace with a sheath silhouette with long sleeves. This is a great look for a ceremony on the beach and a quick change for a restaurant reception. Tamiko is in one of our light tulle skirts, which doesn’t have too many layers of tulle so it keeps the fullness of the skirt minimal. She is wearing what we call our “Million Dollar” dress. Although not a million dollars ladies you definitely will look like a million bucks in this heavily beaded sheath wedding dress. It is top to bottom embellished with beading and crystals and is absolutely a wow dress. You will surprise all your guest in a combination like this. Maritza’s bridal gown combination was one of our favorites. She is wearing a organza handkerchief ruffle skirt with this beautiful vneck lace appliqued dress. This look is very romantic and perfect for the bride who can’t decided between a ballgown and a fitted wedding dress.
All three skirts have a hook attachment closure, and some you can change fabrics. We have 7 different styles of skirts and we are waiting for new arrivals coming for Spring 2018. We have skirts available in tulle, chiffon, taffeta, satin and four kinds of laces. Some fabrics are available in multiple colors like lilac grey and french blue. Sizes are available up to a size 28, and we have bodices to match if you don’t want a full dress under your skirt. But we absolutely the love the idea of these 2 in 1 wedding dresses for brides stuck between silhouettes or for those ladies that just want a different look for their reception!
