So we all know that plus size wedding dress shopping can be a little overwhelming sometimes. Every insecurity comes to mind and you hope that you look beautiful in a bridal gown. Most of the time wedding dresses are strapless with an option of adding sleeves through the seamstress. Well there are always other options as well. We just received this beautiful off the shoulder lace bolero jacket in both our Long Beach and Tempe bridal store locations. It has a beautiful delicate lace and clear buttons along the back. It’s perfect for the Bride who may be self conscious of their arms and would like a little extra coverage, which you get with the half sleeve. The eyelash lace scalloped edge is just another beautiful detail. Here we show you 3 ways to wear a lace bolero jacket:
Here we have it paired with a fitted satin pick up dress with ruching the outside of the dress. It works really well with a somewhat simple bridal gown style. The lace bolero jacket gives the gown some detail and some texture. The lace is really a pretty pattern across the chest.
On tea length dress we actually tucked the jacket inside of the dress. Can you believe it looks like it is part of the dress? This help gives the tea length dress a more vintage vibe. The fun part is that you can always take it off when if you decide you want to be strapless. So, it is a piece that is great for a church wedding where sometimes you are required to be modest.
For another classic look, we’ve taken a strapless ruched sweetheart ball gown wedding dress and made it look super classy with this lace bolero jacket added to it.
We love to give tips on different ways to accessorize your wedding gown. This jacket is one of many styles that we carry in both of our locations. We have no problem adding bolero to a strapless dress. Our stylists are here to help and style you with the best accessories, jackets and veils. I was wanting something black. What would be the coat. I’m no ballet business only shopping for personal items.

I don’t believe these three lace bolero jackets come in black, but we do have a 3/4 length sleeve lace jacket that does come in black. Let us know if you’d like to come look at it!
