Jenifer came into our Arizona bridal boutique looking for the perfect wedding gown for her wedding at a local Temple. She ended up with custom modest wedding dress with the most beautiful flutter sleeves!
“I was always terrified to look for wedding dresses as I anticipated it being a very sad and nerve-racking experience.” She told us, “I knew it would be harder to find a dress than usual and had a couple of bad experiences before Strut. After meeting with Brooke for the first time, the last dress she picked for me was THE ONE. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful!”
With help from her bridal stylist, Brooke, and the support of her best friend whom she brought with her to her appointment, Jenifer fell in love with the perfect wedding gown. She said yes to a beaded lace Aline gown that featured a v-neck design and a large, scalloped illusion train. “I couldn’t stop thinking about it,” Jenifer wrote to us, “she [Brooke] made everything happen including sending me to an amazing alterations specialist. I am so grateful for the Strut team!”
The alterations she mentioned were a pair of soft flutter sleeves, added to the already beautifully detailed straps of her gown. A general thought when it comes to wedding gowns is that if there is a strap, any type of sleeve can be added to it. Jenifer and her fiancé, Nathan, were wed March 25th, 2022 in the Gilbert Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with an outdoor reception following at the JW Marriott in Scottsdale.
“We had about 250 people at our reception and about 50 in our ceremony!” Jenifer later told us, “We just wanted it to be lighthearted, and fun for everyone. I wanted it to be centered around our families and the reception to be enjoyable for everyone. We had string lights, lots of dancing, and just so much fun!”
“I would say that the funniest part of our day was that we went to Chick Fil A right after our ceremony in our suit and dress and as we went through the drive through the employee just looked at us as if we were crazy.” She continued, “Didn’t acknowledge us or anything just gave us the strangest look!”
“My favorite part about the entire day was right after our ceremony ended, my husband and I looked at each other and thought nothing else matters now!” Jenifer wrote to us after her big day, “We had this sweet realization that now, as long as we had each other, we would be perfectly fine. It was so nice to realize that appreciate the amazing thing we did feeling so loved.”
With each other by their sides, Jenifer and Nathan were over the moon! Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you for letting Strut be a part of your special day!
