We’re so excited to share another curvy Strut Bride from our Long Beach, California bridal shop. Avery’s wedding vibes were a “a timeless all white romantic feel”, and she nailed it in this timeless, romantic wedding dress in an aline silhouette.
Raving about her whole wedding day, which gave her tons of amazing memories, Avery wrote, “Although I wish I could relive the WHOLE day over and over again, I think my 2 favorite parts were my first look! Seeing the look on my husbands face after hours of not seeing him was all I dreamed of ! And our First dance , it felt like it was just us and only us in that room at that moment.”
We loved her gorgeous outdoor wedding venue! Avery said, “We got married at the shore by wedgewood in San Clemente, with 60 of our closest friends and family! It was gorgeous and would pick it over and over again. It was actually the first venue we looked at in person, despite looking online for weeks but we immediately just knew that was the one and we couldn’t look anymore. We loved the outdoor ceremony site filled with lots of greenery and floral and loved the mix of indoor/outdoor option for the reception.” And the green really helped her ivory wedding dress pop!
She continued, “I think the most fun part was seeing all our friends and family connect, all different walks of our lives were there to celebrate me and my husbands love for one another and it was so beautiful
We had friends and family fly from all over the US and even family from Scotland!”
When asked about her wedding dress shopping experience, Avery said, “My dress shopping experience was incredible, I would recommend Strut over and over again! As a plus size bride I was honestly nervous but all nerves went away the second I met my bridal stylist crystal at the Long Beach location but the WHOLE team was nothing but the sweetest. My dress was actually the first one I tried on at the very first shop and I immediately felt like a princess, which is always goals !
But I thought this is too good to be true there’s no way the first dress is the one, so I tried on six more and had to go back to my first choice after seeing it with a veil it was over!
I did and customs sleeves to my dress and a glitter under skirt with the help of the amazing seamstress Maria, she made my vision come to life!
