Brittany’s bohemian lace wedding gown fit her laid back wedding day vibe and multi-day celebration perfectly! She shopped our Long Beach bridal store in search of a fit n flare wedding dress that was a bit of modern twist on a classic. She liked the contrast of two tone wedding gowns and fell in love with a unique bridal gown from our private collection.
Brittany wrote, “We did have an incredible time–truly a weekend we will never forget for as long as we live. Our wedding venue was a private estate–my aunt and uncle’s 22 acre property in grand junction, Colorado. We chose to do a destination wedding with most people traveling from CA and we made a weekend of it with a wine, beer and spirits tour before the welcome BBQ on Friday and a huge group rafting trip on the Colorado River the day after the wedding. A number of people checked out the nearby national parks either before or after the weekend. The welcome BBQ was at Kannah Creek Brewing Company in GJ and we took additional photos in a day after session at the Colorado National Monument, the national park in town.
Bespoke Cakery did our cakes (not the other desserts), Vanessa Vierra of Vanessa Noel Events was our florist and planner, and Prim & Pixie did our signage and invitations. For the wedding, our vintage rentals were by Stonewood Vintage, other rentals were with Premier Event Rental in Carbondale, Colorado and Elite Events in Grand Junction with the exception of linens, which were La Tavola. Our caterer was Flavours by Sodexo at Grand Mesa University (they did the charcuterie boards pre ceremony, cocktail apps, the full family style dinner and churros and doughnuts for dessert…basically everything but the cake). Our bartending and booze was through Fisher’s Liquor Barn. DJ was Ryan Griz entertainment from Grand Junction and our guitarist was Steve Shurack out of Denver. Michelle Trujillo at Virtue Salon did our hair and Hope Carlton of Perfect Touch did make up. Oh, and my headpiece is by Jannie Baltzer and shoes are Tieks obviously :)”
Brittany’s incredible gown was a strapless trumpet gown with vertical lace detail and a tiered lace train. It has a super low back. Brittany ordered her gown in two tone ivory over cafe, which makes the lace stand out a bit more and give it that bohemian wedding dress feel. She and Rhett were married August 27th, 2016.
