Celia booked a VIB (Very Important Bride) champagne wedding dress shopping appointment in our Chandler, Arizona bridal shop and chose the most amazing glam ballgown wedding dress for her big day at Stonebridge Manor in Mesa, Arizona!
Celia told us about her wedding dress shopping experience, “This was honestly my second wedding dress I bought. I thought I had loved my first one that I got from another store but I ended up having dress regret it was beautiful but I felt like I needed more. So when I went it I came in with an open mind because I personally feel like you never know until it’s on your body. Brooke was my stylist and let me tell you she pulled a few dresses the first one I tried on I knew was the one it was me in a dress! I still tried on a few others just in case but none made me feel like I did in my dress!”
She and Chris had an intimate wedding of about one hundred guests. She wrote, “I don’t really think we were reaching for a theme but in the end I feel like it was elegant classic our colors were wine, navy, pops of gold and champagne!” You can see these colors play out in her exquisite wedding flowers and Chris’s navy suit.
Her stunning glam ballgown wedding dress was strapless with a deep sweetheart bodice and heavy silver sequin design throughout the obdice and tricking down into the full, tulle skirt. Her wedding dress was a mocha-champagne color, which was gorgeous for these outdoor wedding photos!
We love hearing about our Strut Brides’ big days, and Celia told us about one of her favorite memories: “It was super important for us to a picture with everybody that attended our wedding so the DJ played crazy in love by Beyoncé and we had to run to each table to take a picture during that of the song and my brother ended up following us with my nephew (he’s 6 months old) to each table to get my nephew in every picture! It was funny because in most of the photos you just see a floating baby.”
As for advice she’d give another Strut Bride who is not yet married, Celia wrote, “I think the best advice I can give in to not stress over the little things as long as you remember your marriage license and rings that’s all that matters. Also it’s your wedding day no one else’s you do what you want, have who you want there. Hopefully your family understands you don’t need to invite your cousins Jim second cousin bob that you haven’t seen in 10 years. Last thing if you’re thinking about getting a videographer do it!! The day/night went by so fast and I love that we are able to look back and watch it all over again!”
We love this advice! Plus YES get a videographer to film your wedding, because when we watch our brides’ videos we can really feel the emotion of the day better than just through photos.
