In April of 2021, Elisha came into our Phoenix, Arizona -area wedding dress store with her party to find her wedding gown. She wanted something with sleeves and lace but wasn’t at first sure about what type of silhouette she wanted. She ended up with a long sleeve ballgown wedding dress with scalloped edge veil.
When a bride isn’t sure of where to begin, that’s when the stylist steps in and guides them to the right choice. That is exactly what happened to Elisha when she met her stylist, Brooke. “Brooke helped me choose my dress.” She said, “It was the first dress that I tried on. I tried on others, but my dress was the dress I fell in love with. My sister and I were both in tears as I tried it on for a second time. At that moment, I knew it was the one.”
Elisha chose an ivory ballgown wedding dress that had gorgeous delicate lace appliques throughout. The lace even went around the trimming of the hem of the gown, giving the wedding gown an absolutely elegant feel. Elisha topped the look off with a beautiful cathedral-length veil with scalloped lace edge and she was ready for her big day. “Strut is so amazing!” she said, “I’ve never felt more comfortable, and I was always treated with such kindness and respect. Strut definitely made my dress-shopping experience remarkable.”
On May 6th, 2022, Elisha and her fiancé Gabriel were wed. The wedding was held at the Windmill Winery in Florence, Arizona. “This venue was so beautiful.” She told us, “Every aspect of the Lakehouse Venue was absolutely stunning. The ceremony was outdoors on the lake, while the reception was inside.” Adding touches of blue and white to the archway, Elisha and Gabriel made their day, especially for them.
“My favorite part/moment about the whole day would have to be when I walked down the aisle and saw my future husband.” Elisha later wrote to us, “I never felt more beautiful than I did in that moment. Having all my family/friends there, staring at me, smiling, is such a memorable moment.” In front of 125 of their close friends and family, the happy couple exchanged their vows while the sun shone on the lake behind them.
Even after her special day, Elisha couldn’t stop giving her Strut experience all the praise. “Brooke, thank you for making me a beautiful bride and being the sweetest person ever!” Elisha wrote in a special shout-out, “Every sentence that you said, was ended with the word beautiful! That’s exactly what I felt, BEAUTIFUL! I am extremely blessed that I was assisted by your beautiful self! Thank you.”
