We’re excited to feature another bride from our Long Beach, California bridal shop! Elsa shopped and found the perfect classic aline wedding dress right off the rack for her October 15th nuptials to Christopher in Anaheim, California.
She wrote, “My dress shopping experience was amazing. At first I did not want to go out of budget, but after not being 100% happy with the ones we tried my oldest sister said “Let’s see more dresses!” so she offered to pay the difference so I can get my gown. I fell in love with my gown the second they fluffed me up before walking out to my bridal party. Then they threw a veil on me. It was all waterworks from that moment on and I knew I had found the one! I felt like a beautiful bride.” Elsa added, “My strut experience was just so great! I felt comfortable and my needs were beyond met.”
Elsa wrote, “Favorite part about the whole day was finally seeing my fiance (now husband) at the altar waiting for me with the biggest smile on his face! At that moment I knew, I was going to remember this for the rest of our lives. Another favorite moment was our first dance. We would listen to our song all the time, but something about that very moment was just beautiful. We danced “Always and Forever” by the Heatwave.” She continued, “We got married in Anaheim, California at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Our venue was a small indoor venue, Sol Banquets in Anaheim as well. It was a 200 person reception!”
“Our wedding was a very pink and laid back wedding. We both actually like the color pink. We are both sneaker heads and just had everyone (except the bridesmaids) wear their favorite sneaker. The bridesmaids opted out of wearing sneakers and went with a more classic heel moment.” We love this shot of the bride and groom showing off their sneakers!
We love hearing about the unique moments each of our Strut Brides have. Elsa wrote, “The funnest part of the day I would say was the mariachi band we had for our cocktail/dinner hours; Mariachi Juvenil Nochistlan. They were great and put on a great show! Everyone really enjoyed their performance.”
We love when our brides help the next generation of brides by sharing some wisdom, and Elsa was kind enough to share this: “A piece of advice I would give another bride is, do not listen to every suggestion they throw at you and do not stress over the family drama (because there will be some! I can guarantee that lol). This is your day and it is what you and your fiance want! At the end of the day remember what this wedding is really about, it is about you and him, no one else.”
