Hannah’s fall themed, rustic Huntington Beach wedding was stunning and full of fun surprises for her fiance. We loved having her shop our Long Beach, California bridal shop for her November nuptials.
Hannah wrote, “We got married at The Newland Barn in Huntington Beach. My husband was born and raised in Huntington Beach so he wanted to get married somewhere within Huntington. We went to another wedding there and we both loved that it is rustic and that you can decorate it anyway you want to customize it to you! We had about 180 guests in attendance.“
Hannah was looking for a ballgown wedding dress and actually purchased the very first dress she tried on in our wedding dress store! It was a vneck plunge bodice tulle gown, and we custom added a heavy glitter layer for more sparkle! She added, “I saw my dress on Instagram and that is what brought me into Strut. I loved that the specialized in plus size gowns so I felt comfortable the whole time.“
We custom ordered a Rams garter for Hannah as a small surprise for her fiance, Welsey. But she planned an even bigger one – a surprise appearance by the real Rams mascot! There were a lot of great moments from this day! I think my favorite part of the day was finally being married to my best friend. Plus completely surprising him by having Rampage (Los Angeles Rams mascot) “crash” our wedding.”
In fact, this big surprise was the funniest part of her wedding day! She added, “His face was priceless! Having Rampage crash our wedding and everyone thinking it was my dad in the suit when in fact it was the real deal. Plus everyone’s reactions to him.” What a cool surprise for a big sports fan!
Hannah added, “All the gals at the Long Beach location were so fantastic. They made the whole shopping experience non stressful.” And her biggest tip for other brides? “ Don’t stress the small stuff! Everything will turn out perfect.”
