We've had the Justin Alexander 8484 ball gown on display across from the front desk for a couple of weeks. Every time I walk by it, I just wanted to give it a hug. It has a full skirt that is made of super soft ruffles. The bodice features a crumb catcher top–it's a funny name but the fullness of the top helps balance out the full skirt.
Perhaps the best feature for fuller figured and plus size brides is the heavily beaded bodice because the detail sits right at the natural waist, drawing your eye to the smallest part of the body (for hour glass shaped women). But even if you have larger hips, this is still a great dress because it flares from the higher waist and just drapes over the hips.
When Sarah S. was in last week, her friend graciously offered to try it on for me, and I took this picture:
So pretty! Right now the wedding dress is featured in the front window of the store, so if you're driving around central Phoenix, pull right up (yep–right onto the sidewalk; it's somehow legal here) and take a look!
