So many Phoenix area brides get married outside. Probably because the weather will probably be just perfect between October and April, and there are so many incredible places to tie the knot. From golf courses and resorts, to the zoo and botanical garden, to castles and orchards, the valley is full of incredible places to say "I do".
One of the easiest DIY decorating ideas for outdoor (and indoor!) spaces is luminaries. Not only do they provide a lovely glow that creates such a warm ambiance, but they are fairly inexpensive (and can be used to reduce your need for floral arrangements, sometimes!).
Now, I was laid off before my wedding, so I had plenty of time to cut them out myself, but here are some photos of the luminaries I had:
I did desert plants and our "logo", which was a + j (photos shamelessly stolen from Liz Honda). If you don't have time (or the inclination) to cut these by hand, you can order a custom set from PaperAcornon etsy.
These are so cute and look quite a bit sturdier than the ones I made. We'd love to hear about your DIY projects!
