To start 2022, Michelle’s sister, Jenny, called our Long Beach bridal boutique to upgrade her sister’s bridal appointment to a VIB (a Very Important Bridal Appointment). While they shopped, she knew that mimosas and sweet treats were the perfect bonus to make her sister’s wedding dress shopping experience even more special. Michelle was shopping for the perfect crepe beach wedding dress!
Her main goal was to find a perfect gown that was both comfortable and easy to walk/dance around in. Her wedding was to take place that summer down in Mexico, so she knew that her time frame was going to be a little tight. Typically, a wedding gown takes on average 6-8 months to arrive once it’s been ordered. Starting to shop for a summer wedding in the early winter of the same year is the perfect time to shop, so Michelle came in wedding dress shopping at the exact right time.
After trying on a few bridal gowns with her stylist, Kellee, Michelle said yes to a gorgeous, fitted wedding gown with lace and beading detail. The bodice of the gown was where most of the detailing was, all along the bust, waist, and straps. The skirt of the wedding gown was a simple, yet elegant, crepe material which is perfect for the humidity and warmth of the venue. The train of the wedding gown is where the detailing continued in a unique cut-out train that made a circular pattern once completely spread out.
Michelle was absolutely in love! She and her family toasted the “yes to the dress” moment with champagne and Michelle decided to take the wedding dress home with her that same day. Deciding to go with the ready-to-wear option saved her from the stress of waiting for her wedding dress to arrive. Although we always track the arrival of all of our gowns here at Strut, we are also able to eliminate some stress for our brides by providing them with an off-the-rack option.
Michelle and her fiancé were wed in Mexico on June 11th, 2022. The couple had such a wonderful time, completely happy to finally be wed.
