OOooooEEeee! We are lookin’ good! Or so we thought, until Christy from Studio Moirae came by to take some beauty shots for us for a magazine ad. We got them back and thought, DAMN! We look hot!
From this shot you’re standing at the front door, looking toward the back. At the front of the salon we have a couple of comfy seating areas. Why? Because wedding dress shopping is hard work, and we want friends and family to have a comfortable place to sit while they’re waiting for an appointment time. We even have snacks (Ann, the chocolate snob, as already vowed to upgrade the junk food selection)!
On the right side we have our super-huge dressing rooms and viewing platforms. Most of our wedding gowns are on the racks in the back. Behind the pink wall in the back is a kitchenette, bathroom and storage area.

This is a detail shot of Allure #8705. It’s new and super popular. It’s a modified aline, meaning that it has ruching through the dropped waist, and a single shoulder strap covered in Swarovski crystals. In plain English, that means it gives girls AMAZING curves. Yesterday Laurie E. tried it on and WOW! She looked incredible in this rich-looking satin.
Here’s an awesome accessory shot. Ann tried to be helpful during the shot. Mostly she stayed out of the way and tried to keep her desk clean. But mainly Christy did her own artitistic thing, rearranging how she wanted and finding cool backdrops (she even used our couch for a shot!). We loved chatting with her as she wandered around.
