Meghan shopped our Tempe wedding dress store in September of 2017. She was looking for a wedding dress that made her feel like royalty in our modern society. Our expert stylists helped Meghan find a modern princess ballgown wedding dress fit for this boss babe’s fairytale! We asked Meghan to answer a few questions about her special day and when we asked about her dress shopping experience, she said,
My dress shopping experience was wonderful. I actually travelled to Arizona from Canada to dress shop and I was most excited to visit Strut…The last thing you want to feel is that you’re “settling” on a dress because you only had certain options presented to you. When I put on my dress and came out, I knew that I had found something special. I felt like royalty and was so excited to have found “the one”.

Walking down the aisle…seeing Shaun’s reaction as I came out in my incredible dress, with my parents on each arm was so special.
We got married at the Cumberland Village Heritage Museum just outside of Ottawa…Everything was outdoors and the lush green space appealed to me and set the aesthetic for the day. We had 175 guests!

We had so much fun helping to add to the elegant and chic feel Meghan was looking for. She and Shaun said “I do” in September of 2018.
All we wanted was to have an amazing night filled with everyone we love to celebrate our love. We were able to look at each other and savour that moment of having everything come together perfectly, just like we had intended.

The team at strut were amazing: not only did they help me find my gown, but they helped order special, removable tulle/crinoline to give it a fuller appearance when I walked down the aisle, as well as helped order extra tulle and lace so that I could have a matching veil made.
