Jill came in to our Long Beach bridal store in November of last year hoping to find the perfect wedding dress. She came wedding dress shopping by herself in order to avoid too many opinions. Like some curvy brides, she was dreading the fact that she had to try on wedding gowns. After an awesome lengthy conversation on finding what she was looking for and getting to know her a little more, we pulled a few bridal gowns in hopes of starting her bridal shopping experience off right. With a much thought out decision, Jill chose a beautiful lace and tulle ballgown by Allure Bridals.
Jill’s wedding dress was a traditional tulle ballgown dress. The strapless bodice has a very soft delicate lace with a sweetheart neckline and beautiful Swarovski crystal embellished waistband. She wore very simple gold and green jewelry, so not to overwhelm the details on the dress.
The tulle skirt is embellished with a beautilful lace trim all around, which is a gorgeous detail on the train of the dress. Adding a ballgown slip to this dress gives it more fullness and is also a beautiful addition. Jill chose not wear one, and its still just as beautiful!!
Her colors for the wedding were emerald and gold, because she and her husband are big Green Bay Packers fans. So to show their love for the team the colors were incorporated into everything from the cake to her shoes. There were some great DIY decor that just was the perfect touch to add to the complete look of the wedding.
Her bridal party consisted of 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen all in black with accents of emerald green and gold. You can tell this a pretty lively group.

My consultant Tamiko was fun and friendly, we had a great time! I was so lucky and happy to find my dress.
