When Holly came into our Phoenix, Arizona -area bridal shop, she originally looked for something that would fit with her October wedding date. She met with her stylist, Semaj, and the wedding dress vision began to change for the better and she bought a strapless glitter ballgown wedding dress.
“I worked with Semaj when you guys were still in your old location [in Phoenix],” Holly said, “I told him I thought I wanted lace, long sleeves, and Aline to try and fit well with the Fall aesthetic I was going for. But he knew me better than that after just that conversation.”
A bridal stylist isn’t just there to help guide you through the wedding gowns at the bridal shop to find the perfect one, but it’s mainly to listen to the bride. A bridal stylist is a bride’s shoulder to lean on and ear to listen to their every want and need. It is how they find the wedding gown the bride has always been dreaming of, even when they don’t realize it.
“[Semaj] pulled the dress as his top pick [and] I ended up picking it!” Holly said of her experience, “It was a beautiful sweat heart neckline, sparkly ballgown! It was honestly what I had always dreamed of and it could not have been more perfect! And… it has pockets!!!”
Although it was a change from her original vision of lace and sleeves, Holly’s sparkle tulle ballgown fit beautifully with the autumn vibes of her wedding. Pairing this stunning glitter ballgown wedding dress with a cathedral veil with lace edging, Holly was ready to walk down the aisle and say, ‘I do!’
Holly and her fiancé, Curtis, were wed on October 22nd in front of 90 of their loved ones in a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony.
“We got married in Tucson, Arizona at The Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch.” The bride told us, “It was all outside and absolutely stunning with the greenery and desert views. We had a fall-inspired wedding with fall colors: rust, oranges, and neutrals.”
“My favorite part of my wedding day was just after the ceremony ended and my whole bridal party and family were gathered around as we were about to sign our marriage license,” she went on, “The venue had margaritas waiting for us and it was the first moment I got to really look around and realize how blessed we were to have all of these people here supporting us!”
“As mentioned before, I worked with Semaj, but I worked with many other people at [Strut],” Holly emailed us while planning to use our Wedding Gown Preservation Services, “Everyone was so amazing and sweet! [The wedding] was absolutely wonderful! Thank you all so much for everything! The dress and veil were just absolutely stunning and I felt so beautiful.”
